swag
Print is alive and kicking when it comes to events, trade shows, internal graphics, swag and advertising—to name just a few. Brochures and manuals are not a thing of the past, either; here are a few old and new projects that fit the category.

These items were for a specific Redtail University series of training events; every year the training team came up with a new theme and I would interpret it and pull it together visually into their presentation, a Workbook, T-shirt and other items for the attendees to take home.

Additionally, at Redtail and with other clients, I have created many Tee designs, take-home printed materials, logo-applied swag like jackets, beach gear and more.
posters & handbooks
These are 20x30 commemorative posters for Redtail University trainings (the handbooks for those are on the right.) The themes for each year were given to me to present visually for the years’ presentations, textbooks, etc.

I have created posters large and small for a diverse collection of clients, like BFI, West Valley Collections, Thomas Kincade, Notre Dame High School and others.

trade shows
This is the largest booth for a trade show I helped with (Thomas Kincade.) All the giant banners you see were my design and prep, and the tin was a give-away (swag).

I also worked on trade show graphics and banners for Redtail and Fujitsu.

brochures, brochures, brochures…
When I think back over the years, this is maybe 1% of all the brochures and booklets, annuals and mail pieces I’ve helped with, from fancy multicolored folders with die-cuts and varnishes, to one color pieces for nonprofits. And everything in between. Things have changed in the printing industry, no doubt about it, probably for the better, but sometimes the tactile feel of paper and ink still makes something worth keeping.
calendars & newsletters
For many years I created a family calendar, which morphed into a calendar of my paintings. At Redtail, we began a series of desk calendars for employees featuring their dogs. And the beautiful square desk calendar featuring the China photography of Luis F. Garcia was a designer’s dream to produce. I have produced printed and PDF long-term newsletters for probably a dozen different clients (in addition to working on digital newsletters in more recent years.)
